A deposit of 50% of total safari cost is required at the time of booking confirmation and balance being payable before safari start.
You may also choose to pay full safari amount at booking confirmation if you prefer.
You may also pay on-line or locally by credit / debit card.
If you decide to make payments by bank / wire transfer, you are required to include bank transactional charges.
Any safari deposit paid shall be refunded less the cost of cancellation fees levied by hotels and administrative costs as below;
If a cancellation notification is received by Friends on Safari 36 days prior to the commencement of a tour, a cancellation fee of 10% will be charged.
If a cancellation notification is received by Friends on Safari within 35 to 15 days prior to the commencement of a tour, a cancellation fee of 25% will be charged.
If a cancellation notification is received by Friends on Safari within 14 to 6 days prior to the commencement of a tour, a cancellation fee of 50% will be charged.
If a cancellation notification is received by Friends on Safari within 5 days prior to the date of commencement of a tour or no show, a cancellation fee of 100% will be charged.
Friends on Safari will utilize deposits submitted to pay for such cancellation charges and will refund to the Client all unused payments.
In the event that the Client requests for an amendment for a tour FOS will endeavor to make such alterations with minimum or nil penalties, however the client will at all times be liable to any unavoidable subsequent amendment charges.
Refunds will be done within 30 days after cancellation of the safari.
DUE TO THE GLOBAL MAGNITUDE OF THE CORONA VIRUS PANDEMIC OUR CLIENT REFUNDS SHALL BE DONE WITHIN 150 DAYS UPON RECEIPT OF CANCELLATION FOR THE SAFARI. (Note that this is subject to review as the situation unfolds).
